Im sure some people have an automated script to fire off a complaint without even watching.

I was just about to post a thread very similar....

so thats 188 complaints out of 7 million viewers, thats like o.oooosomethingorother %.

it got to 517 complaints when the media feeding frenzy took off.

but can i make a complaint about the media stirring up a complaint?

Saw the program and thought it MOST amusing.

Offended? You bet I was! I had to leave a very strong reply on the Times' website supporting Jezza.

If you can, I am going to think of some to complain about, I cant complain about JC though, I think he should be next Prime Minister.

I also complained about Songs of Praise 4.45pm on Sunday:-
Having far too many people that were quite obversely on drugs to be that happy on the programme before the 9.00pm watershed!

I saw the programme, and when the comment about how lorry drivers spend their days was made I thought "Oh Dear"

I did think they countered the remark by repeatedly expressing admiration for the amount of skill, dexterity, etc it takes to control a truck in motion.

Like others have said though - X hundred complaints v X million viewers - what % of the population is offended?

Problem is it's the silent majority that don't get represented, all those normal folk who think 'Snigger-Snigger, did you hear what he just said?' then get on with their lives.
