    prayers for scubagits mom

    well scubagit is a very close personal friend of mine . he has recently found out that his job might be in danger . but this was over shadowed by the news that his mother was unwell .

    she has been diagnosed with lung cancer which has been caught early and is under going kemo .

    i am sure that you all will join me in your thoughts , prayers and words of strenght for a friend and a pal who has been there for me in the past .and is a real honest to god down to earth nice guy who always has a smile on his face .

    Yes. Best wishes winging their way from me as well. My Mum was diagnosed with cancer last year but after surgery and a course of radiotherapy she has now been given the all clear and now just has to go back on a six monthly basis for check ups.

    Hope this has a similar positive outcome.

    Cheers folks, only seeing this now. She's doing well so far. 3 sessions of chemo in as many days last week and she's handling it very well. No side effects to speak of but I know it's early days.
    Brought her home yesterday so glad to have her back round the corner (I'll save a friggin fortune not having to park at the friggin hospital)

    Well the job is defo gone, finishing up on the 13th. Now the hunt begins!!!


    That and the 6 month wait for my statutory redundancy to come through (cnuts!!)
    I know a bloke who screwed the blonde girl from Hanson!!
