I was one of the Contractors who brought Blueyonder into reality and supported it for the first 12 months, so many problems it was the best money I ever made/will make due to being on an hourly rate! Happy days but glad to see it has got better.

BT Broadband.

526k and in the 18 months I've been connected only been off-line once for 30 mins and that was over a year ago. Very reliable and very quick. Just reduced their prices to £24.99 per month as well.

Has to be Zen. We use them for our corporate ADSL lines as they are so reliable and fast and I've used them at home for a couple of years now. I don't think they have dropped out of the top three providers list for customer satisfaction and speed since they've offered an ADSL service. Very impressive.

If you want a more impartial view then its worth checking out the ADSL Guide

The two I'd recommend are Plusnet and Pipex.

Don't forget, however, that if you're not on a LLU exchange (or cable) you're using BT to the peer point anyway. The main difference is price and support.

Mark.

ntl

Been using the 600k package for a couple of years now.
Internet access has generally proved good, we can happily connect 2 computers the the web at the same time with no hassles.
Email occasionally goes down for a few hours.
I have received quite a bit of spam, 90-100 junk emails a day at present-thank goodness for mailwasher to identify the spam
