Its alright for you lot, with a few exceptions, but I was supposed to be diving the Cuba/Mulberry today, it got canned due to crap weather. I'm sitting here, cheesed off cos its a beautiful day out there, but I appreciate Skipper did what he thought was safest and I've got some boring bloke behind me like a fog horn whilst I'm trying to do some heavy software coding.
Oh how I'd lik eto tell him to shut the F**k up!!

Sorry mate, might be a nice day where you are but the sea states no fun down here, Its calmed down a little bit in the last couple of hours but there is still plenty of surf on the beach. Still what do I do with a forecast like the above?
Monday evening was even worse, didnt call the dive till 5pm when it was SE F5 and the forecast was to continue, By 8pm when the boat was due to go it was calm SW F2 and would have been a nice evening (apart from the terrential <sp> Rain that is)

Anyway, I'm sat here bored and not earning - so as I've been a good skipper and not taken you out in cr&p conditions we need to play the Rep game I need more points.... come on you lot

Apparently I need to spread it around before I can give you any more rep points Dave, sorry, my hands are tied. I know you did the right thing mate regardless of what its cost you in lost earnings, but just think of the positive publicity. It takes an age to get but a moment to lose.

Listen I need to keep my job so I can afford to keep diving, so punching lights out, however appealing, isnt an option (at the moment).

Me too - had to go to Stoney, where of course they decided to shut the shop whilst I was in the pub. No problem except my cylinders were in the shop getting a fill, or not getting a fill to be more accurate and I had to go back the next day to collect them, still un-filled as they were all arsey about the stickers. Only had them filled about 20 times this year, yes they are still in test as they were new and 'clean' in Jan this year.

I will get in that damn sea soon!

I just didnt want you to dive, so I quickly put some ball bearings in the gearbox oil and waited for it to go bang

Now, I dont want you to get paranoid but the whole of YD secretly asked me to ensure you didnt dive......... and seeing that they are all such nice people I didnt mind at all when I wrote the cheque to Honda for £2648.06....... anything to keep YD happy
