What about the watermarking kits that you get for household stuff.

You're local Nosey Neighbour (sorry Neighbourhood Watch) should be able to give you information.

Depending on why you want it discreet, I just mark a small, slightly stylised letter "D" on my stuff somewhere very "out of the way". For example, on my mask I have it on the back of the frame in the space between the two lenses. If I lose it it won't get returned, but it does mean I can always identify it from everyone elses if it gets mized up without having my name scrawled across everything I own in giant letters!

I have my name an BSAC number on most of my kit, somewhere out of the way (e.g. labels on BCD and Suits), but I just went for the giant letters option.

Using a thick black marker pen on your mask makes for low-viz diving everytime.

Regards

Mark

Pens

We use a;
Super Colour - Silver, made byPilot, with a fine tip. This allows for an set of initials on the not so important bits and a phone number on the main bits. As it's fine the writting is farly discreat.

I tried using a welding paint marker to write my name on my fins because everyone in our clubs has twin jets. It worked for about 5 dives then it washed off. Mine now stand out due to the only ones having spring heel straps.
