Question Taling co2 blob to egypt

I want to take a co2 blob to Egypt? Has any one done this? Is it something to declare at check in or just keep schtum?

Yes. Have taken it. Had the bottle on top of my hold luggage so I could wave it at them at check in. No problems whatsoever...

Depending how much of a PITA the Airline checkin are you may need the relavent paperwork to take the CO2 canister on the plane. Ask the airline in advance. It's certainly possible, we used to import drums of CO2 powerletts from the 'states by air.
