Looks to be for real, and not too bad an idea. I got stung on the face by a jelly fish in Scapa Flow a couple of years ago, and this may have stopped it. It does look pretty stupid though

They were in one of the recent dive magazines, I was thinking of getting one for SWMBO, but then remembered that I had an old ratty wetsuit in the garage to chop up still havn't done it mind.

I could have done with one of these in the Farn Islands last Aug, got a VERY sore face on day one There were tentacles (right word?) everywhere.

I have an old Ski mask for very cold conditions very similar to this and its also neoprene, worked very well in blizzards.

If you dive with Jelly fish a lot i can see its attraction.

I have a sting guard made out of 100% natural " fibers " and it works a treat. Mind you Mrs. Mares will have a job getting one of them.
