Yep - best thing since sliced bread and weight harnesses! The £80 RRP seems ridiculous as they're basically just a few plumbing fittings and a pair of rubber gloves. I got mine for £10 off ebay, but they don't turn up very often... They're dead easy to fit yourself (just sandwich the latex seal between two plastic rings), so you've always got the option of fitting them at a later date. I know a couple of people who are saving up for these after seeing my warm, dry hands after diving this winter

So is the ring permanently installed on the drysuit?

No - the outer ring that the glove fits into goes over the latex wrist seal and a slightly smaller diameter ring is inserted inside the seal, sandwiching the rubber tightly and holding the outer ring in place. It is possible to remove them, but fitting and removal is a bit fiddly so it's not something you want to be doing on a regular basis. You'd have to remove them when you put new wrist seals on, but apart from that there doesn't seem to be any reason to take them off. I can upload some photos of them if you want - let me know
