What knot..

Gonna reduce the length of line on my spools by 10m, what's the best knot for tying a loop on the end of the line?

Well, I used a simple overhand loop.

I think you should use a triple bowline with eighteen half hitches though

Already tried that one mate, still trying to unravel myself!
Loop it is, looks very secure.

A double figure of eight , or , i could splice it , when we meet

Make him do the splice... that'll keep the bugger quiet for HOURS in that line

This week, i've done some yottie mooring lines , ( Octoplait and marlow ) , halyards rope to wire ....... even to Liverpool salvage splices in 14 mm wire

I get bored at work , so need to do something to pass the time away .
