| I've just bought the mother of all back plates from Skipper. This will add an extra 2.5kg to the overall weight. hopefully this will see me for in the sea and the other backplate for freshwater. Gavin

Well, it is cheap stuff and it comes almost from the local gardening store, but it works fine and it's very solid. | Just add a trim weight for the sea. |

| I've got a pocket weight belt, so it's easy to adjust the weights for the dive (I take off 3kg for fresh).

| +2kg for sea. I use a weight harness so changing the amount of weight can be done quickly and easily.

| Since my weight lives in zip pockets changing it is easy. I use 3Kgs more in the sea. OK, that should be 2.7% of your kitted up weight including tanks, weights and stuff but that 3Kgs for virtually everybody. |
