Is there any difference between Northern Diver Jetfins and Scubapro Jetfins apart from the name and cost?

Thank you

Not that I am aware of.

The ND ones aren't as long or as stiff.

Well, it is cheap stuff and it comes almost from the local gardening store, but it works fine and it's very solid. We tried to destroy one by hitting it with a hammer... we succeeded but we really had to hit it hard - http://www.stde.ch/en/faq.php

Unhappy

I ordered a pair of large ND jetfins after telling them on the phone that they had to fit a size 8 drysuit boot. When they came I could not get enough of my boot into them mainly due to the width if the orifice or what ever you call the boot opening. I called into ND with my drysuit to return the fins and ended up replacing them with XXL after being unable to get right into a XL. It may be my drysuit boot (standard DW neoprene lined boot) but size 8 UK is definitely not XXL IMHO. The fins are made in Taiwan so that may have something to do with it.

I have the Sub Aqua Products jetfins, they too are large size and they too are very small. Maybe made by the same people? I can't imagine there are too many places with jetfin tooling around.

I'm told the Divex ones are better, much bigger foot pocket and a length similar to the Scubapro fins.

If it's length you want, my Cressi Gara 3000's are getting their first airing on Sunday... 85cm blade... not that I'm feeling inadequate...

Just checked mine they are an XL and fit fine with my size 9 drysuit boots.

I just got a pair of scubapro Jetfin XXL's and they are gargantuan.

The underside says size 13-15 and they're like wellies!

Apprently the sizes are;

9-10 = L
11-12=XL
13-15=XXL

I'm going to try to get them changed for a size XL or L cause I'm size 10.

Mark.
