Tigullio have a good rep in Italy, AFAIK, just not too well known here. Lidl seem to be doing there usual, buying in bulk from abroad at 'local' prices and selling at small margins over here.

The ridiculous thing is, a lot of their food products are made here, shipped to the likes of Germany and then re-imported and sold at a profit much cheaper than we can get equivalent product here. Ok, some of it leaves a lot to be desired, but a pool shortie for under £20 and a pair of 5mm zipped wet suit boots for a fiver can't be all bad

Regards

Mark

The knives they're advertising actually look pretty good. Think I'm going to check them out.

Well, I had a pair of Tigullio fins for a few years and they weren't bad for the price. They're in the loft now as I bought some decent fins!

FFS, there won't be any £8 strobes left then!

Tigullio? Isn't that an album by ZZ Top?

YES, I DO know the album is really called Deguello and that that wasn't even funny.

I went along to Lidl and I know some of the larger diving shops went there & beat me and everyone else to it buying everything up that was worth buying, mainly so you buy stuff from them. I managed to get fins, knife and a strobe that was all that was left.

You can see some of the Lidl stuff on ebay for double what people bought them for. Makes me mad
