Woz Straps - Advice Please

Hi guys!

I've done a search on this but there were far too many posts to scan through (I was supposed to be working at the time).

I'm eagerly awaiting a set of Wozstraps I've just ordered and I know many of you swear by them. I'm confident that I personally won't be losing any fingers or chunks of skin as I'm going to get Mr Helen to fit them for me. To save him having to fiddle on with them too much (there are limits to his good nature) what's the best way to measure you've got the right length/fit before you cut them? I dive with Mares Volos/ABS Buckles at the mo.

Any advice greatfully received!

Cheers

Hel xxx

After you've cut the long spring in half, make the first loop and attach it you your fin. Put the fin on and fold the spring round the back of your foot until it lines up with the other "mushroom". You should then be able to see how much you need to cut off the other end to get a good fit.

Tip: Do the above measuring wearing wetsuit boots, cos your drysuit boots *will* be bigger. If its a proper fit on the wetsuit boots, it'll be just right when you come to try them in a drysuit.

BTW, I didn't need to cut anything off after measuring, but then again I have feet like canoes.
