Totally agree, i was so happy when i lost my pocket reel on scylla, then started feeling sorry for the person that would find it

I've got a Pocket Reel you are welcome to if you ever hanker for it again. It's at the back of my dive cupboard where it was last thrown in disgust. Honestly. You would be better with a screwed up length of line and a prayer.

I use spools, I find them very convenient and can carry 3 with no problems whatsoever.

I tend to fire up from my first stop. My logic is that it uses a hell of a lot more gas hovering over a wreck at 45M putting one up than it does doing the same thing at 21M.

I use both and like both, a nice NAS reel (primary) and a MGE Spool (backup). Both are good with a DSMBi as well.
