Other Dive Equipment: Discuss Cargo pouch - anyone use one? in the Dive Kit and Equipment forums: Happy to consider this for a blob or lifting bag, but knowing my luck, I'd put the set on it ...

In that case clip it off on Scubachick's D ring and take some photos worth looking at...

I think mine is from Beaver and closes with a velcro edged lid (not a flap).

I take it on every dive as it houses my backup or main DSMB (depending on type of dive + bits). I attatch it to the waist band with a bayonet type clip.

They are not that dear - if you are worried about whether it's a waste of money?

Whilst eBaying for my metal detector yesterday I'm sure I saw one on eBay - if so, I'll add the link to the end of the thread.

be careful if buying one of the beaver pouches online, I got them to confirm that it was one of the larger ones, and then confirmed it again, after which they sent one of the small ones ......these have no depth and aren't much use for anything big

I am also looking at maybe getting a front pocket for my Tekwing. I am just wondering whether it would cover or get too close to the release buckle on the harness. How do you guys and gals deal with that?

AP Valves/ Buddy Pouch

I have a AP Valves / Buddy pouch. Which attaches to the cumberbund on my wing (through a sleeve (large webbing loop) at the back). Making it look like a "Bump Bag".
It has two inner compartments, the main compartment has a zip which is faffy to rezip underwater if you need too. I occasionally use this large compartment for my crack bottle DSMB.
The other compartment has a velcro flap type pocket for small items (backup torch) etc.
It does the job it was intended for but it my case it does reduce how tight you can secure the waist strap.
It does have a tendancy to slide over the quick release buckle but it is easy to slide it back into position.

I have done a search for a picture - but gave up
Regards,

I use the Bowstone cargo pouch and clip it to a waist d-ring off of my jacket or wing and sit along my right thigh, used this with a tekwing while up in St.Abbs and had no problems, be careful when putting down kit if its still attached, reels don't like cylinders put on them.

I have got the pouch on my Tekwing along with the Inspiration weight pockets. They all go on the waist strap, but I too can't have the waist strap secured as tight as I'd like. Only done one dive with the whole setup so far though, so hopefully I'll get used to things. If anyone has one of these pockets and can offer other advice it would be greatly appreciated
