Question Wings at the Dive Show

I'm going to the dive show next Saturday and one of the main things to buy on my list is a wing for single tank use. I already have a very nice anodized ali backplate and am planning to build my own harness. The thing is I have no idea whats likely to be there to look at, fiddle with and drool over.

I've pretty much narrowed my choice down to the Halcyon Eclipse , Agir-Brokk Blackbird, DirZone Arctic Cub or DiveRite Venture.

The problem is that without typing all the exhibitors one by one into Google I cannot work out which of these wings will be at the show .

If anyone can help out and better yet give me an idea of what would be a good price I'd very much appreciatte it.

There is a list of the exhibitors http://www.diveshows.co.uk/

Agir-Brokk and DirZone wings can be viewed at Phill's (aka divingniknaks) shop not too far from the NEC if you can't see what you're after at the show.

Thanks for the link. Very useful indeed.

I didn't realise Phil had a shop, thought he was online only. DOH

Sorry we've blown the secret Phil. Although as you rightly observe it was Rob, he did it, not me, I wasn't even there.

Any chance your going to be open by the show? Its just that I'm flying out on the 30th for a week in Andalucia and was hoping to get my kit together before then.

I imagine you'll be able to find most of those wings at one stall or another at the weekend - just have a look around, bound to be there.

I just got the DiveRite Venture Wing, seems good - i've got the Classic as well for my twins, and sold my old BC to make space for a single wing instead... keep it all the same(ish). Its basically the same construction as a Classic (if you've ever seen one of them), just smaller... I paid £135 from GoDive. Others may be better (I don't know), but as I don't have any problems with it I got no reason to think about changing, and would happily get the same again.

Well, it is cheap stuff and it comes almost from the local gardening store, but it works fine and it's very solid. We tried to destroy one by hitting it with a hammer... we succeeded but we really had to hit it hard - http://www.stde.ch/en/faq.php

Oooh nice and easy to get to from Cov too... Don't suppose you happen to own a big deep puddle (ideally with a 6m shelf) we could jump in too? Been looking for an alternative to Stoney for a while now...
