| Maybe im better off with rubber straps then rather than changing the clips every thursday for pool then every saturday/sunday back for diving and so on - its a matter of time before i forget. I also go abroad with the wetsuit boots so thats more to consider. My 2 drysuits have very different boot sizes too. Not sure i can justify spending near £40 on 2 sets of clips then i could just buy a new rubber strap. Was just an idea seeing as i have to buy a strap anyway. |

| I would get a pair of pool fins for a tenner and some spring straps of whatever your choice for your OW fins. If you happen to be a size 10 I've got a new pair of pool fins bought for a friend of mine twice by mistake. Yours for 12 quid which is what they cost me. Plus the postage or collect. Blimey- am I now a non-profit organisation or something?

I use-slip on fins for the pool, so that's not an issue for me. The way I justified the money (the ones I got we similar in price to Woz's) was that I was safe in the knowledge that they'll probably never break. One hardboat dive I had a strap break, then the replacment broke, fortunatly one of the other guys had a spare finn the sam as mine and I took that, but I could have missed out on the dive (slack and all that) for the sake of a 2 quid bit of rubber (yes I know o-rings are even cheaper S'up to you mate, we're all past masters at spending other people's money on here, but if the Beaver straps fit your fins straight off, I'd go for them, you can always sell them on e-bay r Paul

| Woz Straps are definitely the best. I have both Woz straps and the beaver ones (on a spare set of fins) and I would vote 100% for the Woz ones. The DIY is minimal, but if Woz will fit them for you then use him. Steve

| I have Woz straps on my avanti quattros and they are great. The downside of the beaver straps is that they have plastic clips which could get damaged. The Woz straps fit directly to the fin and are therefore totally indestructible. Because they are DIY you can adjust them to the perfect length for your fin/boot/foot combination/s.

| I have the Beaver spring straps and they are great, Large size (Hmmm that may be XL, but i tried them in the shop, just take your semi-dry boots and fins in) fitted onto me size 43/44 Mares Avanti fins in about 5 seconds and are perfect both with me Drysuit and when on Holiday with me semi-dry suit boots. Cost about £16 which is incredible PS Not had a fin strap snap on me in 12+ years, but these are just sooooo easy
