Spring fin straps?

Anyone know what the going price for a new set of these fin straps .... well, they're not really straps .....er, retainers are.

I've just been outbid at £12 + £2.50 P&P which is getting close to the retail price?

Cue Mr. Woz

The Beaver ones are quite fin-specific, so watch out for this.

Reading my Beaver catalogue they are £16.95. You need to go to a shop with your drysuit and fins to make sure you get the correct fitting and the correct size.

But you would not be so silly, surely Brian?

Don't take the piss, it isn't big!

You know damn well that I would have been so silly and bought them and assumed that they would just stretch to fit all feet!

They can be over-strecthed, I put cave line (string) down the middle of mine to prevent this.

I have to admit to having moved over to WozStraps and them being Mighty Fine - even on my Mares Volo's.
You can get them here.

I know you have to make them yourself, however, this means you get exactly the right fit and can do it in the comfort of your own home. I am quite possibly the most cack handed person when it comes to manual engineering I know, yet even I could do it (esp courtesy of DanE's tip about using a dremel).

This is Kang your Overlord. Enough has been found out about your race by rectal probing. We are now using stainless steel springs around your feet as transmitters to suck out your personality and replace it with one from the plastic toy in a cornflakes packet.

Message ends.
