Crack the bottle ..... I usually open it slightly and then it gently goes on its way (gently so's I have time to sort it if it is snagged etc). If it gets to the surface half filled....well it just keeps on filling! Probably more air than needed... 200bar X 0.1 lt @ 20 lt free air, cf. 10 ish lt bag....... no worries it just blows off through the dump valve. Why not smaller bottle? ever had an under fill?? Problems with moisture into the bottle ..... I took mine apart and don't see how it will get back through the non return valve, and funilly enough I've never had a problem Fire and forget! tips to remember... 1. fill the bottle (you can still manually fill tho - so no worries) 2. tie bag to line ....BEFORE firing - learnt that at the Farnes ....D'oh! Cheers, Paul |

| dsmb so they are good then thanks but someone said damp getting back in the bottle is this true? don`t fancy going up will the blood thing trying to turn it of |

| They are well worth the investment. I crack mine a little and leave it open. I think the possibility of water getting back into the bottle is minute and leaving it open ensures it will always be fully inflated at the surface. |

| thanks will be getting the wife to get that from santa for me |

| I wouldn't worry about water ingress to the cylinder.. some people say it happens, it never has to me, or anyone I know.. do it..

They are the mutt's nuts but I have had water getting into the bottle on one occasion, it was a b*stard getting the valve off to wash out in fresh water, since then I try and make sure to close the valve before letting go. Wouldn't be without it though. HTH Martin

| Fantastic bit of kit major safety enhansement to diving IMHO. Bulky but thats about the only down side. I crack my one just a tad, sort out the reel and when everythig is cosha and the smb is pointing upwards i crack it a little more and let it go. Gently dows it with cracking as outerwise it starts going up in a big hurry. Doing a little at first alows time to abort drag it down and switch it off. Never had water in my one but perhaps i have been lucky. ATB Mark Chase
