steel spring straps

Thinking about getting some spring straps, probably from Woz

Few dumb questions:

1. Are they one size fits all?

2. Can they be adjusted?

3. Any disadvantages apart from weight?

OK

Woz, I'm thinking about getting some of your spring straps, I have a few dumb questions:

1. Are they one size fits all?

2. Can they be adjusted?

3. Any disadvantages apart from weight?

I have the Beaver ones, half the price

They come in different sizes, you are best taking your boots in to try them on.

The Beaver ones don't need adjusting once you have fitted them they are just a big spring.

No disadvantages that I can see.

I don't know what make mine are (they were cheap with white plastic blocks) but I think they did come in more than one size. Once you have the right size there is no need for adjustment as they are simply just a spring.

IMHO they are superb and I don't know why more fins don't come with them. No mucking around slackening or releasing catches. Just pull the thing.

I never even think of the weight as a disadvantage. Then again, I use jet fins. The weight just helps remove any need for ankle weights.

Woz supplies them unassembled for you to fit as you like. I think he may do premade ones now but just get the kit and you can set it to how you like. Great pieces of kit and at a good price

There's a yank called Steve that supplies spring straps for jet fins already assembled http://www.spring-straps.com/, not sure what they're like myself but he was reccomended on another forum recently.
