By a strange coincidence, look what I found on eBay

"THESE SCUBA DIVING FINS ARE BRAND NEW AS ISSUED BY THE ARMED FORCES. THEY ARE MADE BY SUB AQUA PRODUCTS..."

Not Parkway

I am currently diving a pair of the old seac 'lettuce leaf' fins and was thinking of changing to the jet fin style. Is this likely to send my trim off half cocked as I don't dive with ankle weights anyhow and tend to float nicely flat anyway. Is there any simple way of offsetting this that doesn't involve weight pockets as my wing doesn't have any other than a single pouch on the cummerbund strap. Was thinking about valve protectors and taking more off my belt but does that just open a whole can of 'changing too much in one go' worms? Nothing is ever simple eh!

I like mine The only ones i've seen break are by people who use them as if the "flick-closed" mechanism (for want of a better description) isn't there, ie they're always tugging at the rubber strap! Don't see the point in the ones with the lock switch in the middle though and I have seen them jam, but the standard one is lovely! I wouldn't be without mine.

Probably the best thing to do is try it and see what happens. If you know anyone who has some Jet Fins, see if you can borrow them

Yeah, cheers, not a bad plan when you think about it! Why is it that the sensible ideas are the ones that get overlooked!
