Got a Underwater Kinetics (not the same model) as my primary knife - nice job too.

And a Kitchen Devil type knife as a back-up. I used some plastic cut from a bottle to make a sheath.

the largest knife in the world (unless you are Crocodile Dundee) strapped to my right leg
When I discovered that one of the main uses for a knife is to cut free from entanglement but one of the biggest entanglement points was my knife attached to my leg, I moved it to my arm - much better.

Oceanic Cutter

I'd recommend the Oceanic Cutter.

Very similar to the UK Remora but comes in a webbing sheath and costs £12-14, less than half the price of the Remora.

I've got both knives and rate both of them, but the Cutter sits much more comfortably on your waistband because of the way the knife fits into the sheath. I think the Cutter got 'Best Buy' rating or something in a review by Diver magazine last year.

Cheers,
Jez.

Thanks all,

I've been out and purchased a kitchen devil vegetable peeler and put it in some clear hose.

It makes a nice streamlined knife that'll sit on my waistband or srysuit inflator hose.

Pikey knives rule!
