because I am responding to your reply on the orginal thread in the forum where is was originally posted. it appears there. It does not appear on the new posts page.

does that make sense?

Edit: just checked. this response does not appear in the new posts page for me. but does how I described above..

am I just being dumb?

Either through your user control panel and 'subscribed threads' or quick links on the toolbar and 'todays posts'

I suggest the quick links - that is the one that closest resembles what you were used to. I think I will use a combination of the two.
