Question Changing fin Straps
I have just bought a set of Scubapro jet fins I have just got used to spring straps (Beaver) on my Cressi's I now probably need spring straps on my new ones.

Can I remove the old fin strap attachment without breaking it so if I need to I can replace the spring straps with the original straps.

The reason being I haven't tried the new ones yet and I don't know if they will suit me.

Yes, just carefully file the pin to remove it. It will go back and all you have to do is hit the end to stop it coming through the clip.

So I just file the end off the pin and remove I don't understand "hit the end" if I want to replace the original ones.

When you put a new pin through the hole, put a nail on the end and hit it wiff a hammer to flatten the end to stop it dropping back through said ole

when you replace the pin , support one end and hit the other end so as to deform the metal so it can't come out , not to hard other wise you will bend not spread the end of the pin. I am a trained engineer , and have a selection of hammers to prove it.

Ok second question is it really worth spending over £50 on either Halcyon or Agir Brokk spring straps ?
