The very latest diving hood technology was hawked round unsuspecting divers at Stoney Cove yesterday.
In principle it acts as a wash and condition as you dive, but we are informed that it needs at least 2ata to get the correct flow through the hood. The character selling the item was oblivious to the ecological issues of putting shampoo and conditioner into Stoney Cove, and was warned that with the nuber of divers experiencing -FREEFLOW- problems, the addition of shampoo would turn Stoney into a bubble bath.
Margaret had to have a stern word with him to which he replied,"your barnet might look betta wiv a -FREE- trial darlin"
It is precisely this sort of blatant street peddling that gets diving a bad name.
