| Hi Jay yes I have found these companies to be very unrelaible, however many GPs in my NHS trusts remit have these cylinders which we have a training contract with so have had to sort it ourt for them. Medical Gas Services has been set up as a different company called Medical Gas Solutions with mainly the same staff!! I still find them unreliable but if you give them a call I'm sure they will arrange to sort out your kit for you Contact details are: web: www.medicalgassolutions.co.uk Phone: (01352) 736050 Address: Unit 19, Manor Industrial Estate, Bagillt, Flint, Flintshire, CH6 5UY A guy called Chris Ward is responsibe for servicing etc hope that helps Mark |

I used to buy my O2 from SOS and I purchased 2 x 10ltr O2 cylinders from them, they made me a blending whip and I had excellent service from them. Give Chris a ring and I am sure he will be able to sort you out. |

| Hi Fiona I'm sure they are capable of delivering on some occaisons just like many other companies, as i said i am just speaking from MY extensive professional dealings with this and the previous company and also many many dental practices and gp's that I deal with on a day to day basis. I am sure either Chris or one of his colleagues will be able to help Jay with his kit. Thats why I gave the details. One further comment the problem was not found by the technical director it was reported to the MHRA following a few incidents who issued a hazard notice across the country. here is the Link to the safety notice: Medical Device Alerts |

If I remember correctly they only had technical problems with one specific type of cylinder. |

| I appreciate there will be many people with good service from them, yes you are correct in saying that it was one type of cylinder. As I said I am sure they will give Jay and anyone else the help they need. Maybe they are not as efficient dealing with bigger customers. |

| Many thanks Guy's, Thanks for the help, I'll let you know the service I get and post some feed back. I was thinking about this yesterday and surely there must be a market for one of the medical oxygen kit suppliers to start making dive oxygen kits with associated servicing - the only other suppliers are Marinox, DAN and the italian O2 kits that some of the shops occassionally get in. Who services them (marinox does their own)? Thanks again guys, Jay

| Sorry Jay this didn't cross my mind when I posted the other day. When I needed my 10 ltr O2 cylinder testing, Aqualogistics couldn't do it so he sent it to these guys. CTS (Cylinder Testing and Sales) in Speke 0151 448 0555 Might be worth a phone call. |
