P-Valve Developments
Well, not exactly P-Valves, but sheath/condom catheters.

Found an ad in a journal at work for a company called BioDerm.

They are marketing a new type of external catheter that only attaches to the glans (the bell-end ) and can stay in place for up to 3 days

They sound like a good idea, AND one size fits all, just that they don't look that secure.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

All the manufacturers tell you how to put them on, I'm worried about how you get them off.

It will be interesting to here how Y'all get on with them.

When I was looking for samples of sheaths, I was sent some half length ones from Charter / Coloplast I didn't like them at all, didn't feel secure. I tried them when not diving to see how they stayed on. I really didn't feel too good about putting one on and walking around, kitting up then fining about and expecting it to be perfectly secure when I had a pee. Not forgetting of course the expected 'shrinkage' in UK waters.

So I ordered up the full size ones and they work just fine.

Can't comment on the Bioderms (no P-valve) but I do have experiecne of hydrocolloid dressings (same concept).

Warm water will soften the adhesive, but you have to expose the adhesive (i.e. peel it back a bit) - the adhesive should not catastrophically fail like, say, a plaster suddenly peels off, it becomes tacky and milky.
