I might get some and see about making up some smaller trim-weights.

Hi Andrew

I measured the pockets to check what was the max depth of lead I could get away with, then calculated how many centimetres/inches it would take to get a half kilo strip. Mr Helen measured and cut them using tin snips, then we bound them with the velcro straps and rasped the edges to smooth them together. They are very streamlined. I tried bags of shot in the pouches first and they were waaaaay too bulky.

Hi David
It's not the harness I'm interested in (I have one of those already and find it a PITA), it's the DiveRite weight pockets - which is why I marked the pouch I did.
Regards
Martin

The other "problem" came when getting back in the rib and handing up weight, the pockets are quite tough to get out, they aren't going to fall out at depth! Hopefully this will become easier with a bit more practice.
Why take the weights out and risk losing them?

Just turn away from the RIB and get someone to hold the harness whilst you slip out of it and they then lift it into the RIB. Simple.

Cheers
