DIR knife

Can anyone recommend a cheap DIR dive knife with a webbing sheath?

I've seen some DUX DIR knives adverised on ebay - any experience of these?

That would be fine, looks identical to the DIRZone knife sold by Phill at Divingniknaks.

[EDIT] Damn, too slow

Hi

This reminds me of the trip over to France the other week. We got stopped by the custom guys and this young lad asked where we were going. To France says we, to go and do some of that there cave diving.

Oh says he, I guess you have some of those big diving knives with you?

Erm, no says we, its cave diving, not shark hunting!

Andy

PS No idea about cheap dir knives, but GI used to recommend a simple Kitchen Devil with most of the blade cut off as you only need a decent serrated edge to cut line and stuff.

Which is exactly what the link is - someone obviously has a bedroom business with a Dremmel and a sewing machine - and at £14.99 he must be raking it in!

The knife is specifically made for DIR type diving i.e. to fit on harnesses. If you have have a look on niknaks and UE, the agir and dirzone knifes are very simular.

And just to confirm knife - utensil - kitchen?
