Converting Bauer Capitano to single phase electric.

I am converting my diesel Bauer Capitano to single phase electric.
All things considered, it is pointing me towards a 3kw (4HP) 2 pole foot mounted motor with cap start-cap run.
This is an expensive conversion. Any advise from those who have converted a similar size pump would be appreciated.

Thanks for the comments guys. The motors from Machine Mart are ally rotor and not suitable for high torque applications (manufacturers words). For high torque applications, a capacitor start/capacitor run motor is required. If you want a decent rotor that does not melt, then ally ones are best avoided.
WEG motors are similar to the Brooks, GE and other high quality units and as such, they cost. The retail on a 3kw cpa start/cap run 2 pole WEG is over £300. You get what you pay for, make no mistake. This is what Colin means by "dont burn out". 3.7kw is as rare as chickens teeth and probably a price to match. I managed to get a 3kw (4HP) for £170 at trade price. It wont have the poke of the big diesel, but should do fine.
Additional costs included the new power supply into the garage that can run such a beasty. Dont think that because its rated at 3kw that that will be the extent of the current it requires. Under high torque and at start up, the 16-17A current rating is dwarfed by the actual demand. Then you need a good motor starter with an overload. Thei all adds up to a fair whack.
Too late now, tonight the new motor mounts get fitted and by the weekend it will get its first turn of the rotor! Whoo hoo!

I had an original Bauer Utilus that ran on a single phase motor via a series/parallel starter. At that time it was the biggest Bauer model that would do this and the Capitano was restricted to diesel drive since no three-phase supply was possible where I lived. In the UK it should not be such a problem to get 480v three-phase. Maybe there have been technological advances since then!
