| Manta bite alot of people swear by these & alot hate them but for those that they work for their the best .Just ordered one from the states . Manta Bite, a Revolutionary Scuba Mouthpiece :: Dive with a Manta :: Manta-bite.com other choices include the sea cure mouldable mouth piece :- Custom Divers SeaCURE Mouthpiece or the Jax mouldable mouth piece ,(can't find the link for it )

| If your using an apex reg then I believe you need a Seacure pro this has the larger hole in the centre If you speak to Alex at custom divers they were getting some in today or tomorrow .

| I have both the SeaCure and the Jax mouthpieces. They both operate on the same principle - you drop them in boiling water, put them into your mouth and then bite. It moulds to your teeth and so sits in your mouth very comfortably without you having to work at holding it in. I find both work very well but I prefer the Jax as it is made from a slightly softer material that is a little more comfortable in the mouth. There's already a link above for SeaCure - Jax are available here; Diving Direct

| Jax for me, not just for comfort but they last forever, I go through "normal" mouthpieces at a ridiculous rate. Rob |

| I've got a MantaBite (larger of the 2 sizes available) on my rebreather. It's a bit of a mouthful, but in conjunction with a gag-strap there's no way that it'll drop out if I pass out underwater.

| I've just bought a seacure mouthpiece - brilliant - ever so comfortable after the one I had on my reg gave me a sore lip on the last few dives. Only potential downside I can see is if I had to donate the primary reg. Would obviously not fit anyone else properly. Small price to pay for the comfort though! Stu! |
