I am (I think) now sorted with a weightbelt, but I was toying with the idea of splitting some weight onto the tanks, just to reduce the bulk on the belt. On the other hand the set is heavy enough for moving around when i am not wearing it as it is, so I don't want alot on there. Even better would be if you could take it off easily...

I'll only use a twinset off a boat, unless it's like yesterday for weightcheck (or 7's) and then I wear it to and from the car as I find this more comfortable than carrying it. r Paul

| Oh, yes, the only time I end up "carrying" the twins is in and out of filling stations. AS far as possible I try to keep the harness on and put it on my shoulders. However, humping up onto something high enough to put on is a good reason for me to have a detachable tailweight.

| Wally at Lumb Bros was asking me about tail weights some time ago. Dunno if they ever got round to making one but them might be worth a call if you can put up with the f'in swearing.

| I've nearly finished making half a P-weight which should do what you want. It was a world of pain, but I'm getting quite handy with lead smelting. Followed these instructions: vweight Just bring the upper piece of putty down toward the middle of the plate. Hopefully, it'll sort out the shockingly bad trim on my Faber twin 10s. |

| Saw a tail weight lying on the floor at UE in Portland. I am sure they will be happy to sell it to you but postage might be weighty!

IIRC the P-wight was there to address the issue of neediing a bit more weight but being limited by the size of the 'v'. However a P-weight with Woz's know might solde Lou's problem in that it'd be easier to remove (and replace) than a v-weight for trips to the fill station. r P
