Capernwray sell v weights coated is plastic or something like that, but I don't think they do tail weights. Dave Last edited by KeyLimePie : 10-07-06 at 01:26 PM. |

| Veh hard to get hold of mate. I bought a doubled holed V weight and then cut it in half with a hacksaw which works just great. Agir make them - talk to UE or Phil at Diving Niknaks

| What is the weight of the average tail-weight?

| Typically 2-3 kilos - but that varies - coz normally you use them to counteract the weight of first stages and neck heavy cylinders like Fabers. You need what you need really. Phil's pouches are a cool alternative coz you can play around with adding and removing weight to get it just right. His weight pouches that is - not his super tight leopard skin posing pouches

| Yes, I'd thought of hacking mine about and drilling it so that I could use it in it normal place and Kirstie could use it further down. To summarise, I have the 7's with a 5.5kg v-weight. If Kirstie uses this config she's a little heavy, but also has floaty foot (or ass Yesterday we tried the same amount of lead on a weightbelt and she got on really well, so Phil's pouch looks a good option, maybe combined with hacking the v-weight in half, well into 1/3 and 2/3 sections. r Paul

| Those are the same pouches that Phill now sells Matt as the UK's DSS importer
