I'd say top marks to Beaver for cashing in on a trend but zero out of ten for actually understanding the whole point of fin spring straps in the first place!

If you're gonna get spring straps, don't buy the ones that have plastic buckles - that's a bit like fitting a quick release to a seat belt on a car! Go instead for the 'Commercial' type that use solid metal pins or the v4tec ones available from Phil @ Divingniknaks...
And there was me thinking he said he had Tusa fins...

The V4Tec straps are exclusively for Jetfins (or clones with the same strap fitting).

Forgot about the Manta straps though.

And less than half the price too...

Just pop my comission in the post Woz

Talking Tusa straps

Simply buy a couple as spares from say Dive Machine in Tonbridge - they do Mail Order
I did manage to break the insert clip on one earlier this year after 5 years seious use- the strap and fin still worked OK on the dive

Trust ne, Woz - you aint the only one who thinks the Beaver fin straps are shoddy. But then I'm sure Beaver made an absolutely bloody mint out of them...

Smart move on their part, I guess! The clearly looked at the market and realise that a lot of this tech gear is 'aspirational' and decided to capitalise on it. What next, eh? A Beaver version of a Salvo 21W torch for £50? It would be crap (you can be sure of that) but boy would it sell!

Northern Diver are doing exactly the same as these but better, as they have a rubber shroud with a finger loop to get them on and off.

Brett at Divelife is doing the for about £17.95.

Definitely the easiest and best to fit, as the beaver ones have the useless plastic buckle to attach them to the fin.
