Most dive shops carry the Beaver Springs, sounds like just the thing you're after.

Or you can DIY bungee straps (have been discussed a few times on YD), I used bungee before I got the Jets and they did me well for two years and are still fine, I just don't use the fins now.

Dont bother with the clip on and forget versions, they still have plastic bits to break, definately go for the Woz Straps you make them to the length you require, they are brilliant, indestrucable, no plastic bits at all.
I am sure Woz will be along soon recommending them himself, but in the meantime follow the link here:
DIY spring fin strap kits
I bought some of these on reccomendations from on another YD post and can assure you they are the easiest and fastest fin straps to be seen on our rib.
Regards
Mark

I have the beaver straps and I love them... possibly they are a bit tight when I have my dry suit boots (which are admittantly too big so that may explain it) but when with my wet suit boots I can not fault them. I find it so easy to get them on when I have all my gear on and off in the water before getting up the ladder on the boat... I use them with my mares quattros and used to hate the mares system so this is like heaven compared...

Some of the best £16.95 I have spent...

Woz Straps = Mutts Nuts.

One of the best bits of kit I have ever bought.

Considering he said that he had a 'buckle snap' on his fins, I fail to see how changing over to the abomination that is the Beaver spring fin straps would have solved his problem. I'd say top marks to Beaver for cashing in on a trend but zero out of ten for actually understanding the whole point of fin spring straps in the first place!

If you're gonna get spring straps, don't buy the ones that have plastic buckles - that's a bit like fitting a quick release to a seat belt on a car! Go instead for the 'Commercial' type that use solid metal pins or the v4tec ones available from Phil @ Divingniknaks...

...or - if your fins can't take them, Lumb Bros sell a set that fit standard fin buckle attatchments...

Hardly anyone stocks the Manta ones since Beaver released theirs. The Manta ones are much better than the frankly shoddy Beaver efforts (but I would say that). The V4Tec ones are good too.

But you know whose are the best, don't you?
