Well out team's standard kit is 6 twinsets, 9 stages, three scooters, three kit boxes and lots of chocolate. I'm getting the hard back version which should be able to cope with all of this - but one of the best things is that the wet section and dry sections are seperate - no more car stinking of dive kit

The Mitsubishi L200 is definately a good truck - Kerslake's carries shed loads of kit - but is only pulling about 20 mpg like the landrover. The back is lower which makes it slightly harder to crawl inside to load - and the tail gate is higher which makes it slightly harder to kit up for the vertically challenged amongst us

My husband picks up his new car today - a Merc - which will act as our normal car. he refused to buy an estate as he said I'd just fill it up with stinky dive kit.

He was right

Mind you our new Transit here at work is brilliant. Comfy, quiet, econimical and just over 11 grand brand new. You could get all your DIR crap into that with room to spare.

Or you could get a rebreather and a Smart Car

I like the L200 as well... but then I would, I bought one! I've got the 4Life, fuel consumption is fairly high, braking is not great, acceleration and top speed are okay. It's comfy, but most of all its loads and loads of fun.

Pretty good off road as well, both on fields and 'Proper' off road tracks.

I thought they'd have at least two cars in convoy, where's the redundancy in a single vehicle. Tut Tut.

We have redundant drivers.

The boys drive my truck.

For some reason they won't let me drive theirs......
