get a classic shape 4.0l Cherokee or Grand Cherokee that has been LPG converted. who cares about the economy when the fuel is peanuts. fits shed loads of dive kit in is as easy to drive as a car and does a good job off road too.

| Whats wrong with people carriers? More economical use of car space i.e more room for dive kit !!!! Check out the load capacity of 4x4 's and its fairly cramped across the board unless its a pickup! Get a diesel for pull and economy 40 mpg plus . Passat estate is good (I have one) great engine but for diving I have a renault espace 40mpg plus - takes 4 adults in comfort and all twin sets/stage kit and kitchen sink. Its second hand so 'off road' its pretty good (damage what damage!) Still I must admit the L200 has something of an appeal in black with alloys and hard top rear load area..........just the fuel bill to coff up db |

| My 407SW's going to the knackers yard after it's 3rd ball joint in 3 weeks. It's just shockingly bad (especially as it's an 05 plate). (Extremely gay image removed So, I have decided on a Nissan Navara Pickup 2.5DCI 174Bhp. Brand new they're only 20K so you can pick up 6 month old ones with less than 10k on the clock fully loaded for about £17k to 18k (Double Cab with Sat Nav etc..) If you don't want all the toys you can get 06 plated ones with the same engine for about £15k! Mark.

| Are you sending it back to Peugeot with a "this car is shit please give me my money" note stuck under the wiper? BTW that Nissan looks gayer than a buff bloke in pink leather chaps holding a feather duster wearing a cowboy hat.

| I have to confess that peugeots, renaults and citroens aren't exactly reknowned for their reliability. The renaults are amongst the worst. In my last company we had a fleet of 40 odd cars. A mix of Ford, Vauxhall, Renault, Beemers and Mercs. The Renaults (all Lagunas) spent a total of 3 weeks EACH off the road EACH year. In the end the company removed Renault from the list of cars they'd allow people to specify. I think the next poor performer was the Vauxhalls spent 4 days off the road. Can't remember the others but they were all 0 or 1 day. |

![]() Let me change the image as that one's not particularly indicative. And yes, I'm having a bit of a row with peugeot seeing as this fault could have potentially been fatal.
