Unfortunately much to my dismay the design of those things isn't right to fit any standard scuba hoses. I know because me and Brett tried a few (he was a bit reluctant at first, but soon got into the idea) and they don't fit. It's too small for the collar on a wide bore fitting to grasp, and won't fit in a standard sitech nipple.

So, sadly, it won't. But why that ridge is there I will never know. It must cost more to make, but must be there for a reason. I presume during manufacture. As I can't find a good reason underwater.

Digs.

I have a knife similar to that, and you can squeeze a spare tank valve o-ring on the end.

Doesn't seem like a sensible place to keep one though. And it stretches it slightly, which would probably be A Bad Thing.

I don't have any other ideas though.

Eeeeh the youf of today eh ?

Google for "thimble" mate, they're not holes by the way just dimples in the silver to stop the needle slipping.

Thats bloody scary actually that you didnt instantly recognise a thimble, now I need another beer to get over how old I am.

Hehe, sure i've probably seen one before... think my Grandma's probably got one somewhere! Just a bit of an odd angle, didn't look like a finger - I first thought it was a mouse or a pig with its head in a basket

And to think, I haven't even been drinking today!
