Sacppa Scuba?

I would give them a try as they make custom hoods with various designs on them (sharks fins, tiggers etc) and a basic hood with velcro should be a doddle for them.

You could just use you current hood and cut it and using dry suit glue just add the velcro your self?

I think Terrapin Wetsuits will do custom hoods. They are based in the Hinckley area in Leicestershire.

I know the hoods your on about, a couple of club members had them.

I'm think it was Oceanic that did them, more of gimic than a serious option though

Yeah I'll second that. Did a dive this w/e (looking for Handfish) and got to the beach and realised I'd left my hood at home. I was lent one of these, which was ok until the velcro came loose, the hood got some air under it and tried to float away (and I mean "away") I wear my mask strap under the hood so no strap to hold it down either. Very embarrassing, almost - worst part about it was that although the velcro didn't want to stick to the fuzzy patch on the hood, it stuck like sh1t to a blanket to my gloves, which made the whole replacement operation, with my head exposed to 12 degree water, very time consuming and uncomfortable.

Then... 10 mins later, a passing Laser dinghy and/or a zodiac inflatable snagged my DSMB, (three times) which I was using in towed SMB mode, so quite an annoying day from the viewpoint of kit stuff ups.
