| Lovely Yes I use it for that .I started diving from Dover this year & you have to come back up the shot line so reeling of is a must as far as I am concerned (my navigation is crap

| Mark had concerns about the line becoming cought between spool & main handle metal if it went slack on the spool & created a "loop" .John cured this concern by putting small discs of metal between the handle metal & the spool .in effect it bridges the gap created by the toothed cog for the ratchet .Personally I have never had a problem with mine even though I have had the all the line (150 metres !) out on a wreck off Eastbourne 2 weeks ago ,but Mark had a genuine concern( He has a lot more experience of line laying & diving than I will ever have ) & in the usually style John sorted it out . | John did a quick re-design of them all and cured the problem before the dive show. Excellent reel.

| The little spacers around the inside of the back plate and the edge of the spool is made out of delrin NOT STAINLESS STEEL this is to stop the possiblty of any loops of line getting behind the spool into the gear. THANKS must GO to Mark as his concern was when he received his before the show that we put something in there to stop this possibly happening This mod is done on ALL of the larger diameter reels. for those who DO NOT have this MOD done would like to call me i would be happy free of CHARGE do the mod for you John
