Sting Guard
Has anyone any experience of using these thermal(face) protection masks? What do you think of them/ Problems??

A couple of friends got them a year or two ago - very much a comedy purpose, or for use as a punishment for doing something silly. Can't imagine anyone wearing one for any practical purpose

I got one earlier in the year to take on holiday ice diving...never used it as it restricted the reg in my mouth and you were constantly biting on the mouthpiece so as not to lose it!

also gives a bad seal with the mask and rides up!

not much cop really!

Cheers windy,was aiming to use it on longer overhead environment dives,I will not now,thanks for the usefull post.Pity,good idea.
