Question Case for Torch and kit......any ideas?
My dive kit having done rather well for itself this year ......

I am looking for a suitable case to hold my umbillical torch and computer.........unfortunately I spent too much at Christmas so the likes of PELI are out of the equation unless one is going cheap ????
I have a ex camera alu case at the mo for the computer and such but the umbillical doesn't fit and I am having trouble finding similar of a larger size.......(cameras seem to have gone over to the soft cases) .
Plastic / Ali it doesn't matter as long as it can be internally foamed and is hardy?

Any ideas welcome appart from 'body part' sales as Christmas has rendered my liver unsaleable,and the rest is on detox

B&Q do an ali flight case type thing in their tool box section. I got one for my deco regs. It was under a tenner I think.

I use a Tescos Laptop and overnight bag which is currently holding:

Salvo Umbilical
Charger
OxyGuess analyser
Underwater MP3 player
Computers
Small tool pouch
Blending hose
Personal filter
Camera
Flash
PLB 8 121.5 locator thingy

So all my "delicates". It's padded, has a few handy pockets and expands too with a clever zippy thingy. The best £12 I've spent on dive kit.

If it's the one I have got, the frame is Ali but the box itself is ply/hardboard with a silver film covering, if it's going to get wet you may want to check this.

My case has withstood 2 years of use. It's got a hard back and sides and a soft(ish) front.
