I would have thought that the gas in the cartridge is just enough to inflate the blob at 1atm. I bet if you let it off at 10m, the blob will only be half full.

Janos
Janos You are right, I must have had a brain fart. Except that it must be above 1 ATM otherwise it would not be inflated.

Right just got here and in my scientific attitude ............. just let one rip in the living room and see if the thing goes

a. Bang
b. floppy and crap
c. firm and erect

if you are scared tie a longer piece of string to the pull cord and pull it from the safety of behind the sofa or the quilt because by pulling the quilt over your eye's it make you invisible to burglars and axe wilding lunatics and saves you from sharp things that hurt!!

Graham, do you seriously think that we are going to trust someone who has spent a serious part of his life dashing around the world leaving a trail of destruction and mayhem behind them.

Hi, I bought 2 over christmas 1 red and 1 yellow from ebay both arounf £20 from "dath0". It does not look like he has any at the moment but maybe soon.

First morning they arrived I set one off straight away. No it did not burst but was very well inflated.

Replacement CO2 cartridges can be found at
Tyre-Inflators.co.uk

remember to swap the cartridge out for one the same size. A bigger cartridge will contain more gas than your DSMB can. Then it WILL go pop.

One thing to be aware of... someone picked up one by the red toggle. As it was neatly rolled up at the time, the CO2 had nowhere to go and it made a bit of a bang. As a consequence, my toggle is tucked away.
