Question X-Vision mask strap - where can I find one?!

The mask strap on my Mares X-Vision mask unfortunately broke mid-way through my dive trip to Yonaguni. I managed to do a makeshift repair on it so it saw me through the rest of the trip, but now I need to find another one. I've quickly come to the conclusion that nowhere in Okinawa (my part of Japan) actually sells these mask straps, even the place that sells the masks!

Does anyone know of an online store which sells these replacement mask straps and will deliver to either Japan, or the US (I can get it delivered to a US military address here in Okinawa)? If anyone knows of it, please let me know as this repair job isn't going to last forever.

Many thanks for any help in advance

If its just the strap (not clips) thats gone a bog standard mask strap is fine.

Snapped my X-vision 2 weeks ago and replaced it with a generic beaver mask strap and its fine.

Strange, but all the mask straps I've tried at the dive shops (Tusa, Gull, Scubapro etc) have been about 3mm too wide to fit in the buckles.

Beaver Masks

I got the "Silicone mask strap" near the bottom of the page and it works fine.

That would be ok but I'd need a Beaver supplier that ships to the UK.

I have solved the problem though and have ordered a couple of them from Scubatoys. Thanks for the help
