I was asked by someone what was the best order to buy scuba kit in. It made me wonder...
So, what order did people here buy their kit in, and what was the logic behind their choices?

Me, I went:
Mask, fins, small torch, knife - cos that was all I could buy in my struggling student days
Drygloves - first trip to Stoney in March!

Then basically a full set of kit - Drysuit, stab jacket, regs, dSMB&reel, computer, big torch - because I'd started working and had some cash to spare. Didn't buy cylinders, as they're easy to borrow off the club. Bought some 5mm wetgloves, tho, as the drygloves were pants.

Next dive show - a 15L cylinder and a pony setup, so I'd have a complete set of kit and the redundancy I wanted.

Next dive show after THAT, another full set of kit - wing, twinset, backplate, second reg and 2m long hose - because I didn't find out about the Hogarthian setup until AFTER I'd bought all my kit...

And of course, numerous bits and pieces throughout the whole time, like the safety flag, strobe, etc.

So that was me. How 'bout you lot?
