Promised one of my new pals I would tell you about this.  You've probably seen it in the dive mags.  If you want one tell him about Andy the fireman and he'll knock you 10% off.

Check out http://www.delayedaid.com/ and have a look for yourselves.  Basically it makes the fraught with difficulties job of sending up your DSMB a doddle.

I'm gonna get one 'cos after having used it and done it the normal way I'm convinced.

I'll just go charge up the old Sinclair C5 before I go get on then.  Sucker for a 'new gadget', moi?!!

I like the AP Valves self-inflating SMBs, myself.. spares you the risk of freeflow when you purge your reg!

'tis a valid point that one Dominic, see my post about solo diving and my experience with a free flow.  That happened 'cos I was purging my octo and breathing off my main.  Still a good bit of kit though.

Buy a good reg like a Poseidon and it will never freeflow.
