SMB reels

There are two types of reels:
Small ones
Big ones

Which do people prefer?

I personally carry a big (McMahon) as my primary, as it's SO easy to wind in, and a small pocket-sized one as my emergency backup.

Ah! seen this thread elsewhere before methinks.
I've used the McMahon reels before, very easy operation, don't like the ones with t-bar inside the handle area, not very comfortable and used these more frequently that McMahon.
Will be trying out a new Beaver reel over coming months, similar idea to the McMahon but smaller overall, will watch out for breaking winding knob after hearing other reports.
