Imported post Hmm you do not state what you want to use it for ? I would strongly suggest 18W HID instead of 10W. The extra-light is worth it !

Imported post OK then - wreck-diving less than 50m - limited deco - but I want to get a charge for a day not a dive. Does that assist?

Imported post Gavin, Green force have just launched a 9amp/hour battery pack so that should give you the burn time you need easy even with the 100W eqiv HID head. only prob is the cost i think its gonna put you over budget by some way. id have to check on prices.

Imported post the boys at Lumb are nice peeps. Sorted my arrow out when it kept going tits. ended up replacing it FOC after 12 months. Since then No problems...I also upgraded to HID with an inrterchangeable lens for pin spot and diffused for camera stuff...Lovely toys and really compact. JP

Imported post I just invested in the Greenforce HID 50W umbilical with the F2 battery. This will do 4hrs burn time and it can always be upgraded at a later date. I also got a pouch to put the battery in that attaches to my harness (£15) and a grip for the head made out of webbing so it's hands free (£15) From Narked at 60. For the torch, I got mine from Duck&Dive who yopu could ask for a price. Other prices I got were.... MikesWW.co.uk were £390ish I think. Divers Warehouse have them for £410 Robinhood have them for £440

Imported post Right then - thanks for all the input - I've just received a shiny new Greenforce - same battery as Ali but with a 100w head. I look forward to blinding you all on a future trip! One thing - Ali where did you get your pouch from?
