Hi Jay,
Breathe easy at Capernwray do them, I think it is £20 or £25, sounds expensive but is guaranteed so safer than doing it yourself.
Breathe Easy 01524730777 Barry Hall, give him a bell he may be able to do it before you dive on Saturday.

They are in the Portakabin where Bren usually parks, near the old toilet block. Looks shabby from the outside but they have all the gear.

Anybody know anywhere further north perhaps Scotland that does Spyder batteries.

Mine is well loved but now blanks on dives so needs a new battery.

Ideas?

Having read before a few conversations of the topic of Batteries, I understand you can source them at electronics specialists ie ,Maplins. Saft are the make that's in quite a few of the Suunto's.
The problem's not so much sourcing the batteries, but making sure you seal the watch computer etc correctly.

Just had the one in my Stinger done at a cost of £35 - expensive down here in the smoke!

Kept all my logbook on it which was good, however most of the time it now shows 'ACW' above the time - as if it was wet - all the time, which is not so good. Doesn't seem to affect it at all otherwise - just a bit annoying and I have to turn the 'puter part off now to clear it

Ho hum
Paul
