Just so y'all know (and in case anyone has experienced and knows a cure) the ol' Drifty boy does an excellent pre-dive day check before meeting the Gavster for a dip and turns up with a flat computer battery and NO SPARES (THE ONE BLOODY TIME!   )

So, post dive and home, merrily replace the battery and compie thing goes straight into dive mode and registers 2.4m depth!

Tried clearing the contacts, air blasting, leaving the batt out for 2 days to no avail.....

Ended up using it on Sat and managing a 219min dive on a 12 of 34%!

Any ideas? I'ts off to Mares otherwise (or Dive Scotland if I can hire myself out as a giggle-low)

Hi Driftwood,

I had a Mares Tutor which ended up eating batterys like they were going out of fashion. I asked what coulf be done about it at the NEC dive show (Blandfords) and was told to send it to them. The guy you want to speak to is Mark, details should be on their website.
